More Than a Bed is a not-for-profit organization and relies on volunteers to serve
foster, kinship, and adoptive families. Volunteers help us sort donations,
organize items, and help families find what they need.
In 2023, More Than a Bed served 1,064 Arizona families and 2,977 foster
children. This never would have been possible without our wonderful
volunteers. We need your help to continue this important work!
We welcome individuals and groups of volunteers. Children under 16 must be
accompanied by a parent or guardian. For everyone’s safety, we ask that
volunteers wear closed-toed shoes.
To schedule your first volunteer experience:
Choose where your State tax liability makes the greatest impact. MTaB is a Qualified Foster Care Charitable Organization. Receive a dollar-for-dollar credit up to $1,173 for couples filing jointly or $587 for individuals.
